Walking Sydney: walk #1 Eveleigh & Carriageworks with Jazz Money

Thrilled to share the first walk with you from Walking Sydney: Fifteen walks with a city's writers. On this walk, Jazz Money, poet of Wiradjuri and Irish heritage currently based on Gadigal land, took me on a walk around the old railway yards of Carriageworks. We discussed the Aboriginal history of this industrial site, the writing and art that helps us to understand the history of the places we move through, and the slow, respectful practice of walking on Country.
