Walking Sydney: walk #5 King Street, Newtown with Vanessa Berry

The fifth walk in Walking Sydney: Fifteen walks with a city's writers is with writer, artist and psychogeographer, Vanessa Berry. Our Newtown meander takes us from the old Gould's Book Arcade at the city end of King Street to the brickworks of Sydney Park. Along the way we peer in shop windows, muse over old signs and take a detour to the atmospheric graveyard at Camperdown Memorial Park. The area is a place of renewing energies, where people come to find their tribe, making a home for themselves in the city.
